Zoundio is announcing xRoads, a new app that turns guitar practice into progress you can see. It launches in December 2026 with invite-only early access, and players can join the waitlist today at xroads.app.
Zoundio, the Stockholm music tech company behind Gibson App and Rechords, is announcing xRoads: a guitar practice app built around one simple idea. Practice should add up to progress you can see.
With xRoads, players set goals, track their practice sessions, get real-time feedback on every note and hit new personal records. And because practice is more fun together, they can follow friends and the guitarists who inspire them and see what they are playing.

Your tabs, made interactive
Players can upload any tab and play along with it. xRoads shows the song in three ways: its own gameplay view, a classic tab view and sheet music. You can switch between them at any time, even mid-song.
Real-time feedback, note by note
xRoads listens while you play and shows exactly where you slipped. Too fast? Slow it down. Tricky bar? Loop it until it sticks. After every run you see how many notes you hit, your accuracy and how close you are to your daily goal, so each session has a clear result.
From your feed to your fretboard
Follow friends and the guitarists who inspire you. When they learn something new, it shows up in your feed, and one tap saves it as your next lesson. Clubs bring together players who share a genre or a favourite gear brand.
Share what you write
Players who write their own music can upload their tabs and compositions to xRoads and let other players learn them note for note.
Release plan
xRoads rolls out in two steps:
• Waitlist, open now. Anyone can sign up with their email address at https://xroads.app
• Early access, December 2026. xRoads launches with limited early access. Invites go out by email to people on the waitlist.
